
Dr Marelize Swart is a psychologist, AASECT certified sex therapist and certified life coach with more than 30 years of international experience supporting individuals and couples in their emotional wellbeing, relationships and intimate lives.
She is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (Diplomate) — one of the highest international credentials in sex therapy — and the only practitioner in South Africa listed with this distinction, reflecting many years of specialised training, supervision and clinical practice in sexual health and relationship therapy.
Dr Swart has practised extensively in Canada, the United States and South Africa, and has also contributed to the training of medical students and postgraduate psychology
students in Canada.
Her work and insights on sexual wellbeing have been featured in numerous magazines and newspaper articles over the years. She also served as the resident sexology expert for SA’s DRUM magazine and Health24’s sexology forum.
She now offers secure online therapy to clients across South Africa and internationally.
