Emma Jenkins is a physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health and wellness. Emma has a passion for helping women by empowering them to take control of their pain and injuries, promoting healing through movement and education and implementing training programmes.
Emma graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2013, and worked for a NPO specializing in Pediatric Neurology for 4 years. During this time she helped develope and implement multiple training programmes to empower Care Givers and Mothers of children with Cerebral Palsy.
Emma joined private practice (Roxanne Ashkar Physiotherapy) in 2018 and decided to nurture her passion for movement and women. She holds a qualification as a Pilates Instructor, as well as a Yoga teacher.
In 2019 she started her Women’s Health journey after struggling with chronic pelvic pain for a couple of years. She has since nurtured her special interest in all things considered taboo: pee, pooh, pain and pleasure.
