Dr Elna Rudolph
Dr Elna Rudolph is a South African Medical Doctor and Sexologist. She is the Clinical Head of My Sexual Health (MSH), Director at the African Institute for Sexual and Gender Health (AISGH), Sexual Health Africa (SHA) and the Southern African Sexual Health Association (SASHA). She served as the President of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) in the 2021 to 2025 administration.
With one and a half decades of dedicated experience in Sexual Medicine, Dr Elna has been making a significant contribution to the field through her clinical work, education platforms, and international leadership.

Background & Qualifications
Dr Elna Rudolph has been working exclusively in sexual health since 2010. Her passion began when she encountered the devastating impact of untreated sexual pain conditions and recognised the lack of training available to South African healthcare professionals.
Since then, she’s built:
- A multidisciplinary network of 50+ credible sexual health providers
- The MSH Online Shop, making specialised sexual health products accessible
- Sexology Courses, a global learning platform offering CPD-accredited education in sexual wellness
- A widely viewed TV show, “Uit die Slaapkamer”, bringing frank sex education to South African audiences
