Tamlyn Anderson is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, working with multidisciplinary teams as well as managing her own private practice. She is trained and experienced in various short-term and long-term therapeutic approaches and is skilled at tailoring therapy to an individual’s specific needs.
Tamlyn runs her own private practice in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, but consults clients globally. She also provides seminars, webinars and online workshops.
Tamlyn started working with sexual health in 2013 at an acute physical rehabilitation hospital. Since then she has had extensive experience working with sexual health concerns and how these are impacted by long term stress, burn out, mood disorders, pregnancy, birth and trauma. She works with individuals across the lifespan, and has spent nine years specialising in therapy for various psychiatric and neurological conditions, including epilepsy, traumatic brain injury and functional neurological disorder (FND).
The skills she has developed working with anxiety, trauma and somatoform disorders have also been utilised working with various sexual health conditions, including female sexual pain, low libido, erectile dysfunction and vacurect therapy for spinal cord injuries.
