Who can benefit?

Studies have reported that as many as 13.9 million women aged 18 and over have experienced vaginal dryness. Over a quarter (26%) of women aged 50 and over experience irritation and recurring vaginal dryness and 12% of women under 40 complain of it. ¹

Vaginal dryness is especially common in peri- and postmenopausal women due to hormonal changes and is the second most common discomfort of all sexually active women. Besides menopause, vaginal dryness may also be caused by diabetes and some anti-depressant drugs. Vaginal dryness can undermine self-confidence, lead to mood changes, interfere with normal daily activities and cause a general sense of discomfort.

INGREDIENTS: 

Specially prepared Hydra-V is a hormone-free, odourless serum formulated using a combination of non-prescription ingredients for especially those women whose vaginal epithelium does not produce sufficient hydration/lubrication. 

The main ingredient, Sodium Hyaluronate, has excellent hydration properties. 

This substance is able to conserve a large amount of water molecules and properties include formation and conservation of extra-cellular inflation; skin moistening in the case of inflammation and ultimately preservation of the water equilibrium in the vaginal mucosa. Sodium Hyaluronate is also widely used in treatment of skin diseases due to preservation of tissue consistency and involves improvement and regeneration of the target tissue.²

Together with Sodium Hyaluronate, Vitamin A and Vitamin E are included in the serum to improve vaginal moisturisation and aid with local tissue repair. Vaginal moisturisers may be used several times a week for overall vaginal health and comfort. ³

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Patients with a history of sensitivity to any of the listed ingredients should not use this product.
