Debbie is a physiotherapist with a special interest in male and female pelvic health and sexual health issues. She started treating females with prolapses and incontinence in 1991 and then furthered her interest and studies to include treating male pelvic dysfunctions, sexual dysfunctions, and chronic pelvic pain.

Debbie has been an active member of the Pelvic and Women’s Health Physiotherapy Group of the SASP for many years, including as the National Chairperson from 2013-2017 and as one of the course committee for their postgraduate course.

She is also an active member of the KZN Sexual Health Association.

Debbie has presented at several conferences and medical meetings on the role of physiotherapy in male and female incontinence, sexual dysfunctions, menopause, and post prostatectomy rehabilitation.

Debbie works from her practice at St Augustine’s Hospital in Berea, Durban and at Gateway Hospital in Umhlanga.
