Casey Blake is an Edenvale based Registered Counsellor. She has a private practice where she has been seeing individuals for counselling since 2013. Her counselling interests include sexual wellbeing, sexuality, gender and working with people whose lived experiences are outside of society’s heteronormative, monogamous expectations. She is passionate about helping people think about ways to bring more authenticity, joy and pleasure into their lives.

She is the creator of Tools for Having “The Talks” a series of workshops for parents and caregivers, building their confidence, comfort and skills in having age appropriate conversations with the children in their care. These workshops cover topics ranging from speaking about the body, touch, consent and relationships to sexuality.

Her post graduate research has looked at comfort levels with sexual communication (Honours); and how young adults report their school based sexuality education prepared them for their adult lives (Masters). Casey has been learning about, and studying human sexuality for over a decade.
