At My Sexual Health (MSH), we are committed to advancing conversations around healthy sexual behaviours and HIV prevention. We are excited to announce our partnership with the #ForeverWena movement for an exclusive series of Seminars.

These seminars are designed to reignite positive discussions about sexual health and empower healthcare providers, educators, and community leaders with the knowledge they need to support their communities effectively.

These seminars are perfect for counsellors, healthcare professionals, medical students, nurses, teachers, faith-based organisations, community health workers, and anyone interested in improving their conversations about sexual health. Approved by SAMA, each seminar offers 6 CPD points, including 1 Ethical point.

Programme Overview

1. Binaries & Boxes (Or Not!) ©

   • Description: Deconstruct fixed and linear notions of biological variance, sexual and gender identity, sexual behaviour, and pleasure.
   • Objective: Address heteronormativity, reduce stereotypes, and debunk myths.

2. Important Sexual Health Concepts

   • Description: Define Sexual Health, Sexual Justice, Power Relations, Intersectionality, and Consent.
   • Objective: Provide a comprehensive overview of foundational and advanced topics in sexual health.

3. Sex Positive vs Sex Negativity

   • Description: Explore individual sexual blueprints to understand breaks and accelerators in positive and affirming sexual health conversations.
   • Objective: Equip attendees with the knowledge to foster sex-positive environments.

4. Talking about Sexual Pleasure

   • Description: Integrate HIV discussions with sexual pleasure, guided by #ForeverWena, The Pleasure Principles, and the Pleasure Meter.
   • Objective: Break down barriers in discussing pleasure, a crucial but often overlooked aspect of sexual health education.
