As healthcare providers, continuously enhancing our skills is paramount. MSH Sexology Courses presents an unparalleled opportunity to deepen your expertise in sexual health through our comprehensive CPD-accredited programme. Starting in March 2024, we're offering a path to becoming a Credible Sexual Health Provider, aligned with the World Health Organisation's (WHO) sex-positive and pleasure-based education guidelines.
Modules 1, 2, and 3 form the core curriculum of our programme, providing essential knowledge and skills that are integral to your development as a sexual health provider. These modules are mandatory for all participants and lay the foundation for your accreditation. Module 4, on the other hand, is elective, offering you the flexibility to tailor your learning experience based on your interests and professional needs.
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from MSH. It's important to note that this certificate represents your commitment to professional development and mastery of the course material; however, it does not qualify you to practice as a Sexologist.
This programme is specifically designed as a professional development opportunity for already qualified and registered healthcare providers. It's an investment in your practice, enhancing the quality of services you provide to patients and contributing significantly to your overall job satisfaction and professional growth.
The journey to MSH Accreditation is a structured and comprehensive experience, encompassing various components designed to enhance your expertise in sexual health. This journey involves:
In addition to these components, each participant will complete the SHEP’s questionnaire (Sexual Health Education for Professionals Scale) at the beginning and end of the programme. This tool is essential for assessing and documenting shifts in confidence, knowledge, and attitudes, ensuring a tangible measure of the programme's impact on your professional growth.
Participants are required to complete these components within a 12 months, starting from 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2025. This timeframe is designed to provide a consistent and immersive learning experience, aligning with the academic and practical demands of the programme.
For those enrolled in the Sexology Starter Pack or Female Sexology Courses, an additional R10 000.00 grants access to in-person training weekends, the webinar bundle, supervision sessions at a reduced rate of 30% and other benefits.
This programme is more than just training; it's a transformative experience for your professional journey. This is a comprehensive development course that promises to enrich your practice, enhance patient care, and boost job satisfaction.
