Femagene Intimate Hygiene Soap assists the body to reduce the incidence of vaginal infections and promote general health and hygiene in the vaginal area. It does so through the promotion of the right pH (acidity level) in the vagina (a level of 4) as well as through fending off the organisms that can cause vaginal infections.
Ironically, ordinary soap is often the culprit that leads to the disturbance of the pH balance of the vagina. Normal alkaline soaps can change the pH of the naturally acidic vagina to such an extent that it renders it defenceless against the onslaught of harmful bacteria. Having sex also temporarily offsets the acidity level of the vagina.
Promoting a favourable pH balance
Femagene Intimate Hygiene Soap contains lactic acid that can assist the body to maintain the natural acidic pH of the vagina. The right acidity level can in turn stimulate the growth of friendly bacteria (lactobacilli). Lactobacilli are not only responsible for the production of more lactic acid, but can also serve as a natural defence against bacteria that cause infections as well as unnatural odours.
Fending off infections
The Tea tree oil in Femagene Intimate Hygiene Soap not only has anti-inflammatory properties, but has primarily been included in the formula for its anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-septic properties. It can therefore assist the body to target a number of organisms that cause vaginal infections, including Candida albicans (the villain responsible for thrush) and the lesser known Trichomonas vaginalis (that can cause vaginitis).

Using Femagene Intimate Hygiene Soap:

Instead of ordinary soap, use Femagene Intimate Hygiene Soap on the external vaginal area on a daily basis when you bath or shower. Femagene is safe to use during and after pregnancy - when the incidence of bacterial and yeast infections are particularly high.
